Solutions on OSA

A course from your
materials.
A path through the gaps.

We build a knowledge map on OSA from learning materials and guide each learner through what they are missing.

The problem with a linear course

Dependencies between concepts hide behind the table of contents. The path is built by modules, while learning should follow gaps in what the learner knows.

The methodologist and the expert remain the owners of meaning. Education Atlas removes routine markup and proposes a draft of the relations.

01

The table of contents does not show dependencies between concepts

02

A strong learner goes through modules with no benefit

03

A weaker learner stalls on lecture five because of a gap in lecture one

04

Almost nobody draws a knowledge map by hand: it is costly and slow

What is Education Atlas

An applied solution on the OSA ontology platform. Materials become a course knowledge map, then a personal path for the learner and analytics for the expert.

01

Start from materials you already have

PDFs, lectures, procedures. The course does not need to be rewritten.

02

Get a knowledge map

Concepts and relations: what depends on what, where the example is, where the check is.

03

The learner follows the gaps

What they already know is skipped. What is missing is closed before the next step.

04

The expert edits relations

Disputed relations: confirm, reject, or correct. Nobody draws the whole map by hand.

How it works

Two loops. First the knowledge map is assembled. Then the learner's path and analytics for the course author.

materials → knowledge map → path → feedback

Conceptual model

A knowledge map in OSA: concepts, materials, checks, and the relations between them. The learner is one of the roles; the path follows gaps against the mastery profile.

Who takes part

Four roles and seven process steps. Handoffs between them are explicit: from the course frame to revision based on analytics.

01

Methodologist

Sets the course frame and mastery criteria, and approves the map for release.

02

Expert

Uploads materials and edits disputed relations without drawing the whole map by hand.

03

Administrator

Opens the group, assigns roles and access, and tracks cohort status.

04

Learner

Takes the diagnosis and follows a personal path through the gaps.

Process map

1Methodologist

Course design

Goals, structure, and mastery-profile criteria.

2Expert

Material upload

PDFs, lectures, and tests go into map assembly.

3Education Atlas

Map assembly

Segmentation, glossary, relations, deduplication.

4Expert

Relation review

Disputed items are confirmed; the methodologist approves release.

5Administrator

Group opening

The group, roles, and access for learners.

6Learner

Learning

Diagnosis → map node → lesson/test → mastery profile.

7Methodologist + expert

Course revision

They see where the course breaks and edit structure and materials.

What the solution includes

Four blocks on top of OSA: map assembly, relation review, the path, and analytics.

01

Map assembly

Material upload, segmentation by meaning, glossary, relation extraction, deduplication, the model in OSA.

02

Relation review

The expert interface: confirm, reject, or correct disputed relations.

03

Path

Diagnosis, choice of the next map node, lessons and tests, mastery-profile updates.

04

Analytics

Where the course breaks, which checks are missing, which map nodes stay open for many learners.

What changes

Course assembly and how the learner is guided both change. Module-by-module gives way to a path through the gaps.

01

A map in hours

Education Atlas assembles a draft. The expert edits disputed relations on a map that already exists.

02

A path for each person

A strong learner does not spend time on what they already know. A weaker one closes the gap before the next map node.

03

A transparent mastery profile

You can see which map nodes are closed and what the learner can actually do.

04

The course can keep growing

A new document is mixed into the map. It becomes visible where a check is missing.

This does not replace methodologists. It removes routine markup. Meaning and responsibility stay with people.

Why on OSA

The knowledge map is a native model of the platform. The same primitives: classes, relations, facts, rules. Shared infrastructure with MBSE, arKhon, and Abzats.

Education Atlas: an application layer on top of OSA. A separate platform is not required.

Pilot: one course

A successful pilot: the map is assembled in hours, the path is clearly better than a linear one, and the expert spends time on the meaning of relations.

In the pilot
  • ●One real course and its materials
  • ●A draft map and manual confirmation by an expert
  • ●Diagnosis and a personal path for a small group
  • ●Metrics: completion speed and where the system is wrong
Outside the pilot
  • ✕Replacing the corporate LMS
  • ✕A fully autonomous map with no expert
  • ✕Every course in the company from the first release
  • ✕Replacing methodologists and experts

Start with one course

We take your material. We assemble the map. We run a small group. We see whether people get further, faster, and where the system is wrong.

It runs on the OSA ontology platform. A pilot can be stood up on your side, including on-premise.
